John Dillard, author of the Christian fiction novel Charleston Dawn, has signed a contract with PMA Literary and Film Management to promote his forthcoming work, The Power of One, Nehemiah’s Prayer. Peter Miller, President of PMA and his company has worked with authors in the promotion of over 1,000 fiction and non-fiction works. PMA’s clients include Vincent T. Bugliosi, M. William Phelps, and Angela Winters.
Speaking about the new relationship, Dillard said, “I am excited about my new association with Mr. Miller and believe it is one of the pre-ordained steps to get Nehemiah’s story told of how one man, a layman, can do great things for God.”
The Power of One, Nehemiah’s Prayer is the first in a series of books that explain how to live a fuller life in Christ. Using the example of the Old Testament’s Nehemiah, who rose from a humble working man’s life to rebuild the city wall of Jerusalem, Dillard explains how people today can understand God’s purpose for their life, and work to accomplish that purpose.
Dillard’s first book, Charleston Dawn, was published in early 2006. Set in the port city of Charleston, South Carolina, it is a murder mystery that tells the story of a young couple finding God after being separated by a horrendous crime. It is available at a number of booksellers, including Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.
